How do I set my availability?
Set the hours you teach, and CourseCove offers students only those times. Block time off and it disappears from your booking page automatically, so you never get booked when you're unavailable.
Can students choose their teacher?
Yes. In a multi-teacher studio, each student books the instructor they want, and CourseCove respects every teacher's real availability so nobody gets double-booked.
What happens when a student reschedules?
Reschedules and cancellations follow the policy you set. The change updates your calendar and the student's confirmation, with no back-and-forth email needed.
Do students get booking confirmations?
Every booking sends an email confirmation so both you and the student have the details. Your connected Google Calendar updates at the same time.
Commerce
Checkout, payouts, packages, and fees.
Whose Stripe account handles payments?
Yours. You connect your own Stripe account during setup, and every payout lands with you. CourseCove never sits between you and your money.
How is the CourseCove fee calculated?
Two modes. Pay as you go is $0 a month with a flat 5% on what you collect, capped at $39 a month however much you sell. Or go Pro for $19 a month and pay 0% on sales. Switch anytime, and the app flags when the other mode is cheaper. Standard Stripe processing fees apply separately through your own account, and only the educator ever pays a fee.
When is a package credit used up?
A credit is debited when a student attends the session, not when they buy the pack. That keeps your balance honest and means a no-show doesn't cost a student a lesson they didn't take.
Can a household pay one bill?
Yes. Parents can pay a single bill that covers every sibling, and you can pause tuition for the summer in one click when the school year winds down.

Materials and what students can see.
How much storage do I start with?
Every studio starts with 5 GB free. When you need more room, move up to the Studio plan (50 GB) or the Academy plan (250 GB), and stack +50 GB or +250 GB add-ons on top whenever your library grows.
Who can open the materials I upload?
You decide. Share a resource with the right students and it appears in their portal automatically, so the correct people see it without you emailing files around.
Where do students find what I've shared?
Everything you share in Library shows up inside each student's portal, right alongside their lessons, so there's one place to look instead of a scattered inbox.
